Farmers meticulously tend to these cattle and feed them a very precise diet of wheat, corn, rice, and barley. The resulting Miyazaki beef has a sweet, rich umami flavor and snowflake marbling. Miyazaki beef won the Prime Minister’s Award for excellence 3 consecutive times, and 1st place in the Wagyu Olympics twice.
